Clinical Nurse – Developmental Treatment Unit Outpatient

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our team as a Clinical Nurse in Outpatient Ambulatory Services. We're looking for a dynamic nursing professional eager to showcase compassionate, evidence-based nursing care skills and make a meaningful impact in our MSK Outpatient Developmental Treatment.

Role Overview

  • Work within a Nurse-Physician based Ambulatory Care Practice Model
  • Manage a select caseload of patients receiving experimental chemotherapy utilizing investigational drugs on an outpatient basis.
  • Administer chemotherapy, perform patient assessment, provide symptom management and patient and family education.
  • Act as part of a multidisciplinary team provides continuity of care throughout various stages of treatment and follow-up.
  • Participate in the implementation of clinical support programs to ensure optimal care throughout the healthcare continuum.

Key Qualifications

  • New York State RN license and BSN
  • 1.5 years of related chemotherapy experience preferred
  • Experience with Phase I studies involving pharmacotherapeutics preferred
  • Chemotherapy certification strongly preferred.
  • Medical Oncology experience strongly preferred

Additional Information

  • Location: Rockefeller Outpatient Pavilion, 160 East 53rd Street, NY, NY 10022.
  • Schedule: Full-time; Four 10 hour shifts M-F Flexed 8:00am-8:30pm - no weekends or holidays

Pay Range: $110,700.00 - $177,100.00

FSLA Status: Exempt
