Position Description

A health services network in New York is actively seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing Residential System and work at one of their group homes in Westchester County.

About the Opportunity:

Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: Temp to Perm
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: 7am to 3pm or 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm
Setting: Group Home
Patient Population: Developmentally / Intellectually Disabled

Responsibilities:

Participate in the assessment, planning and implementation of medical care
Provide oversight and training of direct care staff in monitoring the medical system
Provide documented oversight of medical appointments and medical issues
Coordinate and monitor health services, as well as signs and symptoms of illness
Monitor care during medical hospitalizations
Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
Solid assessment and documentation skills

Desired Skills:

1+ year of related Nursing experience
Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Experience working with the Developmentally / Intellectually Disabled population
