As a designated 911 receiving hospital, our facilities include Level I Trauma Centers for both adult and pediatric patients, a Psychiatric Emergency Receiving Center, a citywide Burn Center and more. We recently broke ground on the state-of-the-art Steven and Alexis Cohen Pediatric Emergency Department, and completed expansion of the NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center Emergency Department. Across all campuses, our nurses collaborate with paramedics, physicians and others to use induced hypothermia to digital radiology and other novel techniques. With each innovation, we’re impacting the future of emergency medical care.
Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatric Emergency Department - Per Diem
The Clinical Nurse I is responsible for the direct provision of effective and comprehensive nursing care. This is a per diem position at NewYork-Presbyterian / Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital.
At least two years of RN experience in a Pediatric Emergency Department is required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required. Current New York State License as a Registered Nurse required. BCLS certification for all nurses who provide direct patient care. Additional certification may be required depending on unit as per Nursing By-Laws.
