Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit Nursing Assistant F-T Nights New

• In this role, the Nursing Assistant provides, assist and support the Registered Nurse in addressing basic nursing care to all patients.
  
  

Essential Functions

• Candidate is responsible to assist Registered Nurses in all aspects of patient flow while maintaining a high quality of patient care in a compassionate and humane manner
• This includes, but is not limited to feeding, bathing, ambulating, cleaning of patients, and to provide other given orders from the supervisor on duty, Nurse Manager and/or Assistant Nurse Manager
  
  

This is a full-time night shift(11:45PM-7:45AM) at Brooklyn Methodist Hospital

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalency required.
• Certification from an approved, accredited Nurse Assistant training program is required or enrolled in a SN program and have completed at least 1 clinical rotation
• Experience with Cardiac division is preferred
• Basic computer skills required.
• Current BLS Training from the American Heart Association is required.
